My Favourite Sport

As you've seen in my previous blogs, my lifetime is very close with the world of sports, one of my lifetime dreams was going to the Olympic Games, so I've tried to start a sport, and try to qualify for these big sport event.

Since I was 5 years old my dream was to practice Archery, but in that moment with my family we had a very complicated situation that lasted almost five years, after that years when I was 11 I've fell in love with the Olympics and I've made the promise to be there someday, at first I've tried with Swimming, Football, Basketball and Athletics, in all of these sports I've failed, but by miracle the Chilean Archery Federation have opened a free Archery school for the students of my High School, at these moment I was 15.

The first two years was very slow and difficult, my results was very poor and smetime I've losed the motivation, but everything changed in 2011, I've decided to take by a more serious this this sport and I've started to train more, these year was very problematic because my High School had a strike that lasted almost eight months, with other schools and universities as well, I've used that chance to advance more and the next year as I've did'n entered in the university, I've trained more and worked at the Santiago's Airport to buy my first own bow (I've shooted with three borrowed bows the first three years), at May 13th of 2012 a miracle happened and I've entered at the Chilean National Archery Team, and I had the chance to qualify at the London 2012 Olympic Games, I had to travel to USA, my results was very poor, I didn't made it but was a great experience, some month later I went to Argentina and I've won my first international medals it was great.

Thanks to this sport, I've entered in Architecture (Yeah!! here!!), I've travelled to Mexico, Dominican Republic, Germany, Turkey, Colombia and Guatemala.

For now my best result in this sport was winning a Bronze Medal at the Tenth South American Games here in Santiago at March of 2014, these moment are one of the best moments of my life, I'm decided to improve it qualifying and maybe win an Olympic Medal.
